Abstract

A large government entity demanded full disclosure for all purchasing activities for each of their contractors.

They needed Maximo Purchase Requisitions to be much easier to approve than the standard Maximo inbox and workflow functionality provided.

 

Aduvo built a robust and scalable e-mail notification and approval system using existing J2EE technologies and Maximo Business Objects (MBOs) to send secure e-mail messages from a Maximo Workflow process to the approvers� Windows-powered Cell Phone (other types of phones can be used)

 

APPROVEMAX was created to overcome the many challenges faced by managers every day due to being overwhelmed with meetings and hectic schedules.

 

APPROVEMAX allows a manager to approve/disapprove a PR from anywhere, anytime.� This speeds up the procurement process and creates more productive time for the users.
